Hoffman's D'Creamery

We had lunch at the D’Creamery. It’s a nice clean restaurant with an attentive staff. Our food was served quickly and was very good. The highlight was the corn bites appetizer.

We came here simply looking for a quick ice cream stop but we found so much more. Their ice cream is homemade, by them, and is so good with so many unique flavors like Pistachio, fresh strawberry, and Irish Cream with chocolate chips. They don’t use any artificial flavoring or colors. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with equally unique offerings you won’t find in just any restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff so friendly. We came back for breakfast the next morning and were so impressed with the quality and quantity of food! They even offer complimentary coffee with breakfast! I mean, who does that anymore? And it was good coffee, too! My only regret is that we’re just passing through MO on our way back to OH. But you can be sure that this place is worth going out of your way for and we will be sure to make every effort to “pass through” here again!

Food was amazing! The fried potato salad was delicious. The ice cream was perfect at the counter in a cup ready to take with us and eat on the way home. We will definitely stop here again when we are in Kearney next time!

Love, love, love their food!!! Ordered the famous Gump Burger and pickle fries!!!! Oh my mouth in heaven with pickle fries!!! My husband ordered their brisket sandwich and he about fell out of his seat with goodness and flavor overload. Don’t pass this place up people!! Now I wanna try everything

A good place for ice cream or a full meal. I stopped here on the way home from a Royals game, and there were about a dozen ice cream flavors available. I chose one to go, and mentioned I was driving back to Iowa. The friendly woman who waited on me immediately offered to get me water to go with my ice cream--and not just a little cup as you get at some places, but a 16-ounce cup with ice, a lid, and a straw. She didn't have to do that, and I was impressed, as it was nice to have on a warm day. Helpful, above-and-beyond service always makes a good impression!

I used to live in West Texas and on Saturday mornings my family and I would go to this little hole in the wall restaurant that was only open during breakfast and we'd get these giant burritos stuffed with chilies, potatoes, sausage, eggs, onions and bell peppers wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. The burrito itself was wrapped in foil. They always handed several to-go cups of " not for gringos" salsa Verde out the drive thru window and I can't hardly eat anything without spice now because of that. I've missed those burritos for more than twenty years and from time to time our family makes our own, but it's not the same. Sunday I was visiting my mom and sister and they took me here and I got a breakfast burrito. It. Was. Fire. It was like finding a long lost friend. It didn't come with salsa Verde but the chilies were very fresh and the seeds were very potent. I didn't have high hopes walking in the door in the middle of Kearney Missouri but color me shocked!!! I can't speak for their other food, but if you've ever had a Texas breakfast burrito and you are a sceptic, give Hoffman's a try. You'll be glad you did!!!

I've been to this place three or four times and have always got a great meal. Their burgers are excellent and their fries are crispy. The service is always spot on. Drinks are refilled and we're checked on often. It's a very relaxed, chill atmosphere and they even let us sit and talk longer than we should.
